Job summary

American Trim is seeking a Process Engineer – Paints & Coatings to provide technical leadership for our industrial paint, coating and finishing processes. The role blends hands-on manufacturing support with process engineering and project leadership.

You will work across engineering, quality, production and customers to develop new processes, troubleshoot coating concerns and launch new or revised products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar; related experience considered.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret various instructions.
• Ability to develop project plans, coordinate projects and manage progress on time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement engineering solutions to improve manufacturing processes, quality and efficiency in paint applications.
• Support new and existing products through process development, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Lead project planning, equipment/layout development, cost estimation and employee training.
• Develop plans for timely project completion considering input from customers, engineering, tooling and production.
• Create cost estimates and quotes for new/revised products and initiate quotes per specifications.
• Maintain all supporting documents of activities for review and easy retrieval.
