NOVARES is seeking a reliable Paint Line Setter to support automated line operations in our Howell, MI facility. You will change racks on the paint track, load parts for the booth, and help maintain steady production flow with attention to safety and quality.

You’ll work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with paint booth operators and maintenance teams to meet production goals while following all PPE and process requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience, especially on paint lines or machine setup.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and maneuver parts throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
• Willingness to learn equipment setup and maintenance tasks.

Responsabilités

• Rack Changeovers — Remove, install, and secure part racks on conveyor track according to production requirements.
• Part Loading — Hang and position parts on racks with correct spacing and orientation for paint coverage.
• Equipment Inspection — Inspect racks, hooks, and hangers for wear, paint buildup, or damage; replace or clean as needed.
• Production Flow Monitoring — Ensure parts are loaded consistently to maintain steady throughput into the wash and paint booth.
• Quality Verification — Confirm parts are secure, properly grounded, and aligned before entering the coating process.
• Safety Compliance — Follow all PPE, chemical handling, and machine safety procedures.
• Team Collaboration — Work closely with paint booth operators, maintenance, and supervisors to support production goals.
