Position Overview

The Painter & Sander is responsible for preparing and finishing various cabinet components to ensure exceptional craftsmanship and adherence to company standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency with both hand and power tools, and the ability to execute high-quality paint and finish applications. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and contribute to the creation of beautifully finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation: Prepare surfaces of cabinets for painting and sanding, ensuring all materials are clean and free of defects.
• Sanding: Perform sanding of cabinet surfaces to achieve a smooth finish, using hand tools and power sanders.
• Painting: Apply paint, stain, or finishes to cabinets according to specifications and quality standards. Ensure even coverage and proper application techniques.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for consistency and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
• Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment in good working conditions, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Physical Requirements

Work Environment
