Job summary

Diamondback America is seeking a Painter/Laborer to manage painting from prep to finish and assist in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, maintaining equipment, disposing of chemical waste, using PPE, and applying various painting techniques based on surface type. Applicants should be reliable, detail oriented, and capable of following instructions and schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with prep, sanding, wet sanding and buffing.
• At least 1 year of experience painting on surfaces including aluminum, fiberglass, smooth and rough textures.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces prior to layering paint.
• Maintain technical equipment and ensure they are in working order.
• Safely dispose of chemical waste.
• Ensure PPE such as painting goggles are used.
• Utilize different painting techniques based on surface type.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Drive to get paint as needed.
