Job summary

Diamondback Firearms is seeking a Painter/Laborer to handle all aspects of paint, from prep to finish, and to assist in other departments as needed. You will prep surfaces, sand, buff, and apply coatings on various materials while following detailed work orders. First shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as required. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen and meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with prep, sanding, wet sanding, and buffing.
• At least 1 year of experience painting on a variety of surfaces including aluminum, fiberglass, smooth and rough surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces prior to layering paint.
• Maintain technical equipment for the job and ensure they are in working order.
• Safely dispose of chemical waste.
• Ensure that PPE such as painting goggles are used.
• Utilize different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Drive to get paint as needed.
