Job summary

Generac is seeking a Paint Support I/II to assist with powder paint operations at our Wisconsin facility. You will load and unload parts on the paint line, maintain a clean workspace, and follow supervised procedures to ensure quality and safety.

The role includes shift hours 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime on Fridays, and a starting pay rate of $19.10/hour. This is a full-time, on-site position within our paint operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with powder paint systems.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the company/site safety rules.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Follow and complete the supervised established procedures, processes, and policies.
• Efficiently load (hang) and unload raw parts from the paint line.
• Knowledge and understanding of the impacts of quality.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• All Level I responsibilities for Paint Support II, including line setting, understanding of packaged parts, communication with material handlers and maintenance, and completing supervised maintenance activities.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
