Job summary

Hillphoenix is seeking a Painter II to support the 2nd shift in our Operations team in Keosauqua, IA. The role focuses on prepping, cleaning, and painting parts to ensure quality along the paint line and proper documentation.

You'll hang parts, apply powder coating or wet paint, identify quality issues, and maintain a safe, organized work area while collaborating with a team to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Prep parts for powder coating or wet painting by cleaning with lacquer thinner and rags.
• Hang prepped parts on the paint line.
• Apply powder coat to bare metal.
• Remove painted parts from the paint line and match parts with the correct documentation.
• Identify poor quality parts.
• Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual’s product line or work cell.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

What You’ll Be Responsible For
