Job summary

Generac Painter I – 2nd Shift is expected to safely complete supervised powder coat painting procedures and efficiently load and unload raw parts from the paint line. The role ensures a ready-to-use finish by staging parts for the coating process and maintaining quality control.

The position runs on the 2nd shift, Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM, with a pay rate of $25.35 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 0–2 years of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

The Paint Hangers are expected to move efficiently and safely with the end result being a ready to use part or assembly.

Pay: $25.35/hour

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday

Hours: 3:00PM to 1:00AM

Major Responsibilities

• Loading, transferring, and unloading of parts on and/or from paint line
• Process each part by hanging/racking to paint application
• Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process
• Perform work duties in a safe manner and in accordance with policy (including wearing required proper personal protective equipment, work habits and performing appropriate housekeeping duties)
• Constantly work in a constantly high heat environment
• Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process
• Exchange and break down racks and prepare for burn-off
• Maintain proper counts
• Report all scrap
• Perform stock handling duties as required
• Maintain a clean work environment

Minimum Job Requirements

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
