Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a Painter/Load for our on-site fabrication team in York County. This full-time role involves prepping and painting structural steel, and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks.

You will operate a forklift, perform rigging, and support the fabrication shop while following safety policies. overtime and some Saturdays may be required. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with overhead cranes.
• Experience painting and using paint sprayers is a plus.
• Must be flexible to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Basic math skills are required.

A Little About Us

The Painter/Load is responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required.

Daily Responsibilities

• Prep and paint structural steel.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform rigging work to move materials as requires.
• Load and unload steel from trucks.
• Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop.

Requirements

• Must have experience with overhead cranes.
• Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint is a plus.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.
• Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.
• Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.
• Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• 1st & 2nd Shifts available.
