Job summary

Caterpillar in Midland, Texas is seeking a Painter I to spray surfaces of machines and products with protective or decorative coatings. The schedule is 10 days on and 4 days off, with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $23 per hour and may be adjusted based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for painting.
• Prepare paint supplies for the applicable product.
• Complete daily production logs to meet environmental and safety standards.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance of work area.
• Maintain routine housekeeping to eliminate workplace hazards.
• Paint parts per work instructions, SOPs, blueprints, risk assessments and job routers.
• Work with Material Coordinator on inventory levels to ensure production levels are maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
