Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a skilled Painter to maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and exterior areas across our properties. You will perform high-quality painting, surface repairs, and finishes while prioritizing hotel operations and guest experience.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial or hospitality painting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial, residential, hotel, construction, or facilities painting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, drywall repair, color matching, and paint application techniques.
• Experience using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, ladders, and common painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, furniture, fixtures, and other interior and exterior surfaces.
• Patch holes, repair drywall, sand surfaces, and prepare areas for painting.
• Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to achieve consistent color and quality.
• Apply paint, primer, stain, sealant, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Protect guest areas, furniture, flooring, and fixtures before beginning work.
• Complete guest room, public space, and back-of-house touch-ups with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
• Inspect completed work and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Maintain tools, equipment, paint inventory, and organized storage areas.
