Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. seeks a skilled Painter/Finisher for our Creedmoor, North Carolina site. This temporary on-site position supports masking, spray painting, conformal coating, piece marking, encapsulation, and chemical finishing in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will read blueprints, follow work instructions, and maintain strict ES&H standards while delivering high-quality workmanship. The assignment runs through the end of 2026 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 5+ years of spray-painting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work safely and follow ES&H requirements.
• NADCAP experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform spray painting and finishing operations in accordance with instructions and specifications.
• Perform masking and preparation activities for finishing operations.
• Apply conformal coatings as required by product and process specs.
• Execute piece marking, encapsulation, and chemical finishing tasks.
• Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Inspect work for accuracy, workmanship, and conformance to requirements.
• Safely operate tools and shop equipment; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other team members to support production schedules.

# Painter/Finisher - TemporaryOntic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world’s aviation leaders. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and continue to grow at pace.Our team is looking for a **Temporary Painter/Finisher** to join them at our **Creedmoor, North Carolina** facility. This position will have an **onsite work structure** and is available to start immediately.This temporary opportunity is being added to support current business demand, team leave coverage, and continued growth at our Creedmoor site. The assignment is currently anticipated to continue through the end of 2026, with the possibility of extending beyond that timeframe based on ongoing business needs.As a Painter/Finisher, you will support a variety of finishing operations, including masking, spray painting, conformal coating, piece marking, encapsulation, and chemical finishing.
