Job summary

Ontic in Creedmoor, NC is hiring a Painter/Finisher to join our weekend shift. You will perform finishes, masking, spray painting, conformal coating, and related assembly tasks on aerospace components.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of spray-painting experience, can read blueprints, are safety-focused, and familiar with ES&H requirements; NADCAP experience is preferred. This role supports critical aerospace parts across our manufacturing operations, with opportunities to contribute to quality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 yrs or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years spray-painting experience required.
• Able to read blueprints and follow work instructions/specifications.
• Safety conscious and conforms to ES&H requirements.
• NADCAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Finishes, to include masking, spray painting, conformal coating, piece marking, encapsulation, and chemical finishing.
• Lamination stacking, bonding, fluidize bedding, motor impregnation, coil covering, helicoil insertion and other minor assembly.
• Remaining flexible to start and stop hot jobs when needed.

What are WE Hiring For? We are hiring a Painter/Finisher to join our Creedmoor, NC operation for our weekend shift.

What will you be doing?

• Finishes, to include masking, spray painting, conformal coating, piece marking, encapsulation, and chemical finishing.
• Lamination stacking, bonding, fluidize bedding, motor impregnation, coil covering, helicoil insertion and other minor assembly.
• Remaining flexible to start and stop hot jobs when needed.

Weekend shift Fri/Sat/Sunday 6am-6:30pm.

What Experience, Knowledge, Education are we Looking for?

• Must be 18 yrs. or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

• FINGER DEXTERITY: Hand eye coordination, steady hands, ability to operate shop equipment
• TALKING: Able to communicate in English
• VISUAL ABILITY: Must be able to identify colors and read minimum of 8-point font
• PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Able to lift 50 lbs. Max
