Job summary

Ontic’s Creedmoor, NC site seeks a Quality Inspector to join the team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this onsite role requires strong aerospace inspection skills and experience with CMM, IPC-A-610/J-STD-001, and ISO 9001 standards.

The position involves approving incoming materials, conducting tests, ensuring traceability, and performing First Article Inspections while coordinating with suppliers and internal resources to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control Inspection principles and regulatory administration.
• AS9100, ISO 9001/9000 QMS standards familiarity.
• Experience with aerospace products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Approve incoming materials per customer specifications; conduct visual and measurement tests.
• Ensure PO requirements are met and traceability is maintained.
• Perform First Article Inspections and verify supplier First Articles.
• Create and maintain paperwork and technical documentation.
• Contain non-conforming material and coordinate with internal/external resources to resolve issues.
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing as required.
