Job Description

Summary

The Painter performs painting, finishing, and maintenance of interior and exterior surfaces and structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and prime surfaces for painting, including removing old paint and filling holes or cracks.
• Clean walls and remove fixtures prior to painting.
• Apply paint, varnishes, and stains to surfaces.
• Paint ceilings and replace ceiling tiles as needed.
• Replace floor tiles as required.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, and rigging to access high areas.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment safely.
• Document work performed using the maintenance system.
• Follow all safety, conduct, and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid Texas Class C driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Preferred: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
