Job summary

CORE Group is seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to join our team in Everett, WA. You will deliver high-quality painting and blasting services, applying marine coatings per contract requirements and ensuring work is completed on time and to standard.

You will operate blast equipment, hook up airlines to manifolds, and spray in all directions while ensuring compliance with specifications and maintaining a safe work site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a painter/blaster.
• Experience performing blasting/painting to contract requirements.
• Understanding blast profiles and millage requirements.
• Hooking up airlines to manifold and spraying in multiple directions.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Perform blasting and painting utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements
• Understand and apply blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and millage requirements
• Operate blast equipment, including hooking up airlines to the manifold and spraying horizontal, vertical, and side-to-side
• Demonstrate knowledge of blast equipment and its proper use
• Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by contract specifications
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a painter/blaster
• Ability to perform all blasting and painting requirements and functions utilizing various applications
• Understanding of blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and millage requirements
• Ability to hook up airlines to the manifold and spray horizontal, vertical, and side-to-side
• Knowledge of blast equipment and ability to demonstrate its proper use
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel (if required)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
