TMD Staffing is hiring an experienced Fabricator/Painter for a leading manufacturing company in Cedar Park, TX. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and painting components per blueprints and specifications, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, uses measuring tools proficiently, and has industrial painting experience. Electrical/ automotive fabrication exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience.
• Minimum 1 year using measuring tools.
• Experience with industrial painting and surface preparation.
• Experience using sprayers, brushes, rollers, and spray paint cans.
• Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Automotive fabrication experience is welcome.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Stable work history required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and form sheet metal using press brakes, CNC laser cutters, shears, drill presses, band saws, water jets and other shop equipment.
• Read blueprints, drawings, work orders, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Set up and operate CNC and robotic fabrication equipment.
• Assemble, tack‑weld, and mechanically fasten components.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and spot welding as required.
• Grind, sand, polish, and finish welds and surfaces.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures to verify measurements.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, masking, sanding, or blasting.
• Mix and apply primers, coatings, and topcoats using spray equipment.
• Inspect completed work and perform rework or touch‑ups as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety and quality procedures.

Pay & Schedule Pay

• Pay: $23–$28/hour
• Day Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Monday–Friday
• Overtime as required
• On-site in an air-conditioned facility
