Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a painter to work with a team to shoot, blast and paint equipment and parts, setting up and adjusting equipment with wrenches and screwdrivers. Equipment and parts are hung on an overhead chain conveyor with hoist, and you will conduct finish quality checks, sanding and touch-up as needed.

You will use SAP to check parts location, routing and inventory. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with basic mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, industrial, aircraft spray painting or auto body work preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use common hand tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Paint equipment and parts as part of a team.
• Set up and adjust equipment using tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Hang equipment and parts onto an overhead chain conveyor with hoist or manually.

Pay

Pay: $20/hr to start, $22/hr after fully trained Hours: 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, some overtime on Fridays.

What Does an American Augers Painter Do?

Work closely with the other members of a team to shoot blast and paint equipment and parts. Set up and adjust equipment using a variety of tools (i.e.-wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) Hang equipment and parts onto an overhead chain conveyor with hoist and/or manually. Conduct a finish quality check. Sand and touch-up as needed. Use computer (SAP) to check the location, routing of parts, and record inventory transactions. Perform other duties as assigned.

What Elements Do We Look For?

Experience/training in automotive, industrial, aircraft spray painting or auto body work preferred. Basic mechanical skills. This includes the ability to use repair tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. Able to use computers, read and follow written instructions from print or computers. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
