Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a painter for its American Augers operation in Ohio. The role involves shot blasting and painting equipment, setting up tools, and coordinating with teammates to move parts on an overhead conveyor.

You will perform quality checks and inventory recording using SAP, with opportunities to learn and advance. Starting pay is $20/hour with $22/hour after full training, and hours are 5:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with some overtime on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience/training in automotive, industrial, aircraft spray painting or auto body work preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use repair tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Able to use computers and follow written instructions from print or computer screens.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shot blast and paint equipment and parts with team.
• Set up and adjust equipment using tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.).
• Hang equipment onto overhead chain conveyor with hoist or manually.
• Conduct a finish quality check.
• Sand and touch-up as needed.
• Use SAP to check location, routing of parts, and record inventory transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
