Job summary

Doosan Bobcat in Minnesota seeks a Paint Line Operator to set up and operate painting and drying units, coating metal parts with powder paint along the conveyor line.

Second shift runs 4:30pm-3:00am Mon-Thurs with potential Friday OT. Pay scale is $21.00-$30.23 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential for the second shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly.
• Must be able to work under time pressure and for extended periods to meet build requirements.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and coworkers in written and verbal form is required.

Responsibilities

• Applies paint powder to all parts passing through the paint booth, ensuring paint quality.
• Performs preventative maintenance of paint booths to ensure continuous operation.
• Operates and maintains set parameters for cure oven.
• Keeps work area clean to maintain equipment and safety.
• Assists in reworking parts as needed.
• Completes ISO Checklists.
• Performs duties safely and according to regulations.
• Performs overtime as required.
• Assists in instructing and training others as requested by supervisor.

• 1. Applies paint powder to all parts that pass through the paint booth by using established methods and procedures, making sure that the quality of the paint is maintained.
• 2. Performs preventative maintenance of paint booths to ensure continuous and consistent operation.
• 3. Operates and maintains set parameters for cure oven.
• 4. Keeps work area clean in order to maintain equipment and safety of area.
• 5. Assists in reworking of parts.
• 6. Completes ISO Checklists.
• 7. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• 8. Performs overtime work as required.
• 9. Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
