Job summary

Doosan Bobcat is seeking a Paint/Coating Operator on the second shift to set up and run painting and drying units along the conveyor line, applying powder coatings to metal parts. Shifts are 4:30pm-3:00am, Mon-Thurs, with potential mandatory OT on Fridays.

Responsibilities include maintaining paint quality, performing preventive maintenance, operating cure ovens, keeping areas clean, and training others as requested. Strong adherence to safety and quality standards is required.

Qualifications

• Must follow established methods and procedures and meet build requirements.
• Able to communicate with supervisors and coworkers in writing and speaking.
• On-the-job and classroom training cover job-specific skills and safety.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint powder to parts passing through the booth while maintaining quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance on paint booths to keep operation steady.
• Operate and monitor cure oven set parameters.
• Keep the work area clean for equipment safety and efficiency.
• Assist in reworking parts as needed.
• Complete ISO checklists.
• Work safely and comply with safety rules.
• Provide overtime when required.
• Assist in training others as requested by supervisor.

Job Information

Sets up and operates painting and drying units along conveyor line to coat metal products with paint.

Second shift: 4:30pm-3:00am Mon-Thurs (potential for mandatory OT on Fridays)

Pay Scale: $21.00-$30.23 (+ $2.00 shift differential for second shift)

Role & Responsibility

• 1. Applies paint powder to all parts that pass through the paint booth by using established methods and procedures, making sure that the quality of the paint is maintained.
• 2. Performs preventative maintenance of paint booths to ensure continuous and consistent operation.
• 3. Operates and maintains set parameters for cure oven.
• 4. Keeps work area clean in order to maintain equipment and safety of area.
• 5. Assists in reworking of parts.
• 6. Completes ISO Checklists.
• 7. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• 8. Performs overtime work as required.
• 9. Assists in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor.
