Etnyre International is a growing, family-owned manufacturer of road maintenance, repair and rehabilitation equipment. We are in search of a Machine Operator for our Oregon, IL facility on 2nd shift. Salary Ranges: $18.50 - $23.72

Position classification will be measured on relevant experience and on-the-job pre-employment test results.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under direct supervision, spray paints parts or units with primers or finish coats.

MAJOR DUTIES:

1. Performs routine or repetitive spray paint operations.
2. Acquires and develops skills in painting without runs.
3. Acquires and develops skills in use of spray painting equipment.
4. Acquires and develops skills in mixing paints for spraying.
5. Acquires and develops skills in cleaning and maintaining spray paint booths and equipment.
6. Follows all procedures without deviation for mixing and spraying paint.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by leader or supervisor.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: A general knowledge of spray painting techniques, tools, materials and equipment is required. Skills may be gained through a combination of practical experience and specialized training.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent climbing, bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 80 pounds) will be required. Wearing a respirator will also be required.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: All work will be done in a timely manner within established quality standards and consistent with Company policies, priorities and needs. The individual holding this position has a broad responsibility for carrying out the objectives of the Company including supporting all company policies, meeting goals, and working as a contributing team member.
