Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Possesses a basic overall understanding of the product and line flow.
2. Previous painting experience.
3. Operate remote control crane to specially equipped vehicles.
4. Inspects, tests, cleans, repairs and services spray guns and other spray painting equipment.
5. Mixes and maintains supply of paint.

This opening is on an off shift - 2nd/3rd

2nd Shift is 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

3rd Shift is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
2. Mechanical background or industrial assembly.
3. Previous paint application experience.
4. Comfortable with being at heights up to 20 feet off the ground on ladders and lifts.
5. Ability to perform simple computer operations.
6. Understanding of both hand and air (pneumatic) tooling.

Top Candidates will possess:

1. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Previous overhead crane experience.
3. Understanding of 5S principles.
4. Forklift certified.
5. Ability to read and understand prints and 3D and 2D imagery.
6. Worked with HVLP and/or compliant spray equipment.

Additional Information:

Starting pay is $23.22/hr + $1.00 shift premium.

Position is located in Decatur, IL - no relocation package is offered.

Positions are Supplemental with limited benefits with a standard 40 hour work week. There is no holiday or vacation pay. Supplemental Employees can be moved to any shift and any position at any time.
