Job summary

Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL is seeking a dedicated painter for a temporary position. You will handle exterior and interior painting, surface texturing, sealing, waterproofing, and pressure washing while adhering to safety guidelines. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

This role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime to support maintenance or urgent repairs on campus. Experience with paint products and equipment operation is required.

Job description

This is a temporary position. Must be hard working, have a great attitude, excellent organization and communication skills, as well as extensive knowledge of all paint products and painting methods. This includes exterior/interior painting, texturing (knock down, orange peel, and pop corn) wet sealing, water proofing, pressure washing (both steam cleaning and soft wash). Must also be highly knowledgeable with operating equipment and meet all safety guidelines.


Working hours are typically Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed to fulfill maintenance requirements or emergency repairs.
