Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Blairsville, PA is seeking a Paint Technician to support finishing operations. You will inspect parts, select and mix paints per Technical Data Sheets, prepare surfaces, and apply coatings using spray equipment.

• Establish the correct paint for the application as flowed down by shop paperwork.
• Mix paints as specified by supplied directions or Technical Data Sheets.
• Prepare and perform minor sanding to detail surface before applying paint.
• Paint effectively on different surfaces and metals.
• Ability to use spray gun or perform other paint methods.
• Able to effectively manage time and complete all delegated work within the specified time.
• Work in a team and coordinate work functions with fellow workers.

Salary Range: $16-$18/hour
