Job summary

G A Richards Company in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a production worker to start on the paint line, handling hanging/unhanging parts and learning powder coat painting.

Shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with pay range $16 to $18 per hour; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, Sick Time, and PTO after 90 days.

No experience is required; this role involves spray operations, surface prep, paint mixing, and equipment cleaning while ensuring quality finishes.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Production spray operations, involving powder painting of manufactured products requiring standard finishes.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and mix paint products as required.
• Clean and maintain equipment and inspect finished work for defects.
• Follow established safety and quality standards.
