Qualifications

• Required personal protective equipment, overhead crane, carts, dollies and some hand tools
• Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times

Responsibilities

• Quality Control: Inspect paint finishes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray painting equipment.
• Safety: Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Material Management: Mix, match, and manage inventory of paints, solvents, and other materials.
• Production Processes: Understand and follow manufacturing specifications and processes.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address issues related to the painting process.
• Inventory Control: Track daily usage of paints, thinners, and other solvents.
• Paint Application: Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other tools.
• Additional Duties: Complete all tasks as assigned by department leadership

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $17.12 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Painters are responsible for all aspects of painting metal, including set up, operation, inspection, and material handling activities. Painters are expected to work in a safe, productive and cooperative manner in accordance with Cornerstone Building Brands policies and procedures.

• Quality Control:Inspecting paint finishes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Equipment Maintenance:Cleaning and maintaining spray painting equipment.

• Safety:Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective gear.

• Material Management:Mixing, matching, and managing inventory of paints, solvents, and other materials.

• Production Processes:Understanding and following manufacturing specifications and processes.

• Problem Solving:Identifying and addressing issues related to the painting process.

• Inventory Control:Tracking daily usage of paints, thinners, and other solvents.

• Paint Application:Applying paint, varnish, or other finishes using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other tools.


• Additional Duties:Complete all tasks as assigned bydepartment leadership
