Job description

Gemini is currently seeking a Painter to join our team in Cannon Falls, MN.

This is a 1st shift position with a pay range of $20.10 - $26.60 per hour. Hours are during the day, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Our ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail and is flexible to assist in shipping and work around the plant.

A Day in the Life of a Gemini Painter Involves:

1. Learning and supporting shipping activities as directed.
2. Assembling letters or products to be painted, and preparing supplies.
3. Mixing paint appropriately, matching paint chips or samples if needed.
4. Masks parts prior to painting and removes masking after drying.
5. Applying paint as required, ensuring quality standards are met.
6. Mixing and spraying hardening agents on products as ordered.
7. Placing painted parts in drying areas or ovens.
8. Ensuring painted parts are adequately dried before moving to the next process.
9. Maintaining inventory of paint products and notifying supervisors when reordering is needed.
10. Maintaining equipment properly.
11. Suggesting process improvements to supervisors.
12. Recording production data, waste, and units produced.
13. Striving to meet quality standards consistently.
14. Keeping the department clean and organized, including cleaning filters and exhaust systems.
