Job summary

Northeast Baptist Hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking an experienced painter to repair, repaint, and redecorate walls, ceilings, woodwork, fixtures throughout a healthcare facility. You will complete competencies within the introductory period and support related duties as assigned.

The role requires 2 years of painting experience with preference for 5 years in painting, sheetrock repair and plaster work; a High School Diploma is required.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: High School Graduate/Trade school
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years in painting or finishing experience
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years related to painting, sheetrock repair and plaster work

Responsibilities

• Repairs, paints and redecorates walls, ceilings, doors, floors and baseboards.
• Sheetrock installation and finishing, tile, seamless flooring, laminate, painting, wall vinyl, wallpaper, ceiling repair and related tasks.
• Assists in requesting supplies and material.
• Documents all work performed on logs/work orders.
• Assists other maintenance techs as needed.
• Maintains safe environment and participates in Performance Improvement activities.

Job Summary

FULL-TIME DAYS
The Painter repairs, paints and redecorates walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture and fixtures throughout the facility. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Skills include sheetrock installation & finishing, tile, seamless flooring, laminate, painting, wall vinyl, wallpaper, monolithic and suspended ceiling repair, wall protection systems and cubicle curtain systems
• Assists in requesting supplies and material.
• Documents all work performed on appropriate logs and work orders.
• Assists other maintenance techs as needed.
• Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively
• Maintains safe environment
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities
