As an Auto Body Painter at CollisionRight, you’ll be responsible for:
Surface Preparation: Mask trim, glass, and parts not to be painted; clean, sand, and prep surfaces for painting.
Painting: Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using waterborne or solvent-based paint systems to deliver high-quality refinishes.
Finishing Touches: Mix and match paints when needed, and buff/sand finished products to meet quality standards.
Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns and painting equipment for optimal performance.
Quality Control: Inspect vehicles post-paint to ensure standards are met before final assembly or delivery.
Safety First: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow all shop safety guidelines.
Team Support: Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and repair timelines.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in auto body painting with solid working knowledge of tools, materials, and techniques.
Skill: Proficiency with spray guns and refinishing equipment, and the ability to mix and match paints accurately.
Physical Agility: Comfortable lifting up to 35 pounds regularly (occasionally over 70), crouching, kneeling, and climbing as needed.
Attention to Detail: Strong visual and color perception, with a drive for excellence in paint finish quality.
Certifications: Valid driver’s license required. I-CAR certification is a plus but not required.
