Job summary

Alliance Steel, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a Painter to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, match colors, and apply coatings to various components of our pre-engineered steel products.

The role supports touch-ups and large-scale projects in a fast-paced plant environment. The job requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to work outdoors in all weather conditions while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience painting is a plus.
• Previous work in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Applicable paints and finishes knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare painting surfaces by cleaning and degreasing.
• Apply paints and finishes to various surfaces.
• Prepare surrounding area to prevent messes (coverings, draping).
• Taping off areas as needed to protect adjacent surfaces.
• Assist with large painting projects and timelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

Alliance Steel, Inc. is seeking Painters to join our growing team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for mixing paints, matching colors, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. Painters may also perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects related to the construction industry.

Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

• Preparing painting surfaces by means of air or wiping with solvent, removing old paint.
• Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
• Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
• Taping off areas as needed
• Any other duties assigned

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience painting a plus
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing company a plus
• Bilingual a plus
• Applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to follow all safety procedures.
