Amfab Steel Specialties, Inc. is seeking a dependable Structural & Miscellaneous Steel Painter to prepare and paint steel components in our shop. You will work with heavy equipment and ensure coatings meet quality and durability standards before delivery.

The role requires experience in industrial painting, comfort around heavy machinery, and reliability. This full-time position offers steady weekday hours in a shop environment with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in steel or industrial or commercial painting.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and paint specifications.
• Forklift certification or relevant experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of paint systems, surface prep, and application techniques.
• Ability to lift and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Mix and apply primers and in less common instances finish coats according to specifications.

This position involves preparing and painting structural and miscellaneous steel components in a shop environment. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial painting and is comfortable working around heavy equipment. Forklift experience is a strong plus. This role is essential to ensuring our fabricated steel meets quality and durability standards before delivery to job sites in a timely and organized manner!
