PAY GRADE: Aux PG-5

DIVISION:

REPORTS TO: Director of Facility Design, Paint Foreman

EDUCATION: High School education or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Prior job experience as a painter

Position Function/Purpose

To improve the appearance of district facilities by repairing and painting them according to instructions.

Major Responsibilities

• 1. Prepare the surface to be painted
• 2. Select proper painting supplies and equipment
• 3. Cares for equipment used on job site.
• 4. Protect existing facilities as painting is being done
• 5. Keep paint foreman informed on all projects and work orders stratus
• 6. Other duties as assigned by Plumbing Foreman or Director of Facility Design

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Certification/Education:

• 7. The ability to read and write
• 8. The ability to follow written and oral directions
• 9. High School education or equivalent
• 10. Maintain valid Texas Driver’s license

Special Knowledge/Skills

• 11. The ability to perform duties at unusual heights
