Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional painter (commercial or residential).
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety and OSHA standards.

Kennebunkport Resort Collection is seeking a full-time and year-round painter for all of our properties!

Job Summary

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or using other methods
• Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Mix and match paint colors and ensure consistent finish across surfaces
• Patch drywall, fill cracks, and repair surfaces as needed before painting
• Safely set up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools
• Work on both interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, equipment, and signage
• Collaborate with maintenance and facilities teams to plan and complete projects
• Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed
  
  

Essential Functions Of The Job

• Proven experience as a professional painter (commercial or residential)
• Knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver a high-quality finish
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina to stand, climb, and lift for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety and OSHA standards
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
