Job Description

This individual plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of Nor'East Controls' commercial and industrial valve product line. Duties include: assembling, painting, and inspecting valves, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to quality and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembling various types of valves according to detailed specifications and blueprints.
  • Painting assembled valves using appropriate techniques to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Inspecting and testing valves for defects and ensuring they meet quality control standards.
  • Operating and maintaining painting equipment and tools.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve any assembly or painting issues.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

Educational Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training or coursework in mechanical assembly, painting, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly and / or industrial painting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with various types of valves and their assembly processes.
  • Experience using painting equipment and techniques.
