Job description

We are looking for a painter to join our maintenance crew at the Thompson Dallas! As the painter, you will be an integral member of the team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects.Your role will include preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring a flawless finish. In addition to your painting expertise, a solid understanding of tile and drywall repair will be essential. The ideal candidate would have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·Must be familiar with all types of paints, stains, varnishes, lacquers, clear coats and strippers.

·Experience with color matching, paint applications and surface preparation.

·Experience with drywall repairs, tile repairs both floor and wall and carpet.

·Experience with brush and roller selection as well the use of hand tools, spraying equipment and some power tools.

·Experience with furniture repairs, light carpentry and plexiglass a plus.

·Ability to read and write the English language fluently.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
