Responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter with a background in commercial painting. This role involves preparing and painting various industrial surfaces, machinery, or structures in a production or commercial environment. Residential painters will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and paint industrial piping and components to meet quality and appearance standards.
• Mix and apply paints and coatings according to specifications for optimal adhesion and durability.
• Operate forklifts to move equipment in and out of prep and paint areas.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment after each use.
• Complete documentation for all painted items and ensure proper labeling.
• Safely store or dispose of paints, solvents, and other materials.
• Assist with material handling or other shop duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial painting experience
  
  
• Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface prep, and paint mixing
  
  
• Ability to read blueprints or technical specifications
  
  
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed
  
  
• Must wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols
  
  
• No residential painting experience will be accepted
