The Adolphus in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Painter to maintain the hotel’s historic interiors. You will paint, plaster and wallpaper to keep spaces safe, attractive and up to brand standards, while preparing surfaces and cleaning after projects.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and cooperation with maintenance teams. Prior hotel experience is preferred with the Makeready benefits program supporting your wellbeing.

• Prior experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to prepare surfaces, mix materials and apply paints.
• Knowledge of plaster and wallpaper essential for upkeep.

Responsabilidades

This individual understands there is nothing less social media-worthy then chipped paint. This person is passionate about ensuring the properties look their best in every shot. Their primary role is to paint, plaster and wallpaper all areas in need to ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment for all that walk through it’s doors. Detail oriented in every aspect of the job from setting up, planning, painting and cleaning.

Requested Tasks

• Examine surfaces to determine what kind and the amount of work necessary
• Prepare wall and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
• Paint surfaces with various tools
• Prior experience highly preferred
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Thorough knowledge of the property
