CMG CONTRACTORS INC is seeking a Residential/Commercial Painter to perform exterior and interior painting on residential and light commercial projects. You will prep surfaces, mix paints, and ensure quality finishes while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires experience in painting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This is a contract position with a duration of 4–5 months and a standard 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs of equipment.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Spray Rig.
• Lift Certified.
• OSHA 10.
• PPE Equipped.

Responsabilités

• Paint using appropriate applicators (brush, roller, etc.) and proper techniques.
• Interact professionally with customers, assess requests, price projects, and describe work orders.
• Identify materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or other means.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and protective coatings.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint quality and finish; maintain painting equipment daily.

Job Summary

We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.

You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!

Contract Position Project Duration: 4-5 months

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
