Job summary

ACKERMANN PAINTING AND REMODELING LLC in Littleton, CO is seeking a residential/commercial painter to join our team. You will prepare and perform exterior and interior painting in residential settings.

You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who takes pride in delivering quality service and maintains a positive attitude. You will interact with customers professionally and ensure work orders are clear and well-executed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 80-100 lbs of equipment

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or wood filler to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
