Job summary

M & S Painting Company Inc is seeking a skilled residential/commercial painter to perform professional exterior and interior painting on residential and light commercial projects.

You will be an experienced painter who joins an energetic team, takes pride in delivering quality service to customers, and values a positive attitude. Reliable transportation and the ability to lift 20 lbs are required to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special coatings
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment

We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.
