Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in Texas is seeking an experienced maintenance associate to assist with interior and exterior painting and general upkeep. You will use spray and conventional paint equipment and help train residents in painting and safety practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of residential/commercial painting, strong time management, and a valid driver's license. Travel may be required to support multiple facilities within the ranch network.

• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist in interior and exterior painting and caulking of buildings with spray and conventional paint equipment.
• Perform painting and general maintenance activities as assigned.
• Assist in training and safety education for residents in painting tasks.
• Keep shop area clean, safe, and organized; ensure tasks are completed timely.
• Ensure maintenance equipment is properly utilized and maintained.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
• Exhibit regular and punctual attendance.
• Interact appropriately with residents.
• Assist in providing general maintenance support as assigned.

Assists in all painting and general maintenance activities as assigned.

Essential Duties:

1. 1. Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
2. 2. Performs interior and exterior painting and caulking of buildings with spray and conventional paint equipment. Utilizes the appropriate paint/lacquer.
3. 3. Assists in general maintenance activities as assigned.
4. 4. Assists in the provision of training and safety education for residents in painting and general maintenance activities.
5. 5. Assists in ensuring that shop area is clean, maintained, safe, and organized.
6. 6. Ensures that maintenance/repair tasks are completed in a timely manner.
7. 7. Assists in ensuring that all maintenance equipment assigned is properly utilized and maintained.
8. 8. Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment, to include breathing apparatus (facial hair must comply with manufacturer's directives).
9. 9. Exhibits appropriate interaction with residents.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1. 1. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
2. 2. A minimum of 3 years experience in structural (residential or commercial) painting is required.
3. 3. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
4. 4. Must be at least 21 years of age.
5. 5. Must possess a valid driver's license.
6. 6. Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing
7. 7. Must be available for travel as needed.
