In-N-Out Burger in Baldwin Park, CA, is seeking a full-time Painter to prep and paint restaurant locations and other company facilities throughout Southern California. The position is based in Baldwin Park and requires 4 nights per week on a graveyard shift from 12:00 a.m.

to 10:30 a.m., with 45% travel to sites across the region. Qualifications include a minimum of two years as a painter, high school diploma or GED, and a valid California driver's license.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Painter based out of our Baldwin Park, CA facility. This position will be responsible for the prep and painting of In-N-Out Burger restaurant locations and other company facilities throughout Southern California.

General Responsibilities

• Paint the interior and exterior of In-N-Out Burger restaurants and other company facilities
• Use brush and roller, airless, HVLP, and a variety of paint products
• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding (i.e. use of ladders/boom lifts), covering fixtures, etc.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc.
• Operating, maintaining and cleaning all equipment
• Completing necessary paperwork
• Completion of work orders and projects in a timely manner
• Pre-painting preparation including supply estimation, scraping, patching, sanding and clean up
• Painting of restaurants and other company facilities
• Follow all health and safety precautions
• Temporary Full-time position, Hourly, Non-Exempt - This position can lead to a permanent position with in 90 days
• Pay Range is $26.50-$30.50 per hour (Journeyman Painter)
  The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
• 4 nights per week
• Work Days: Tuesday–Friday or Monday–Thursday (weekends necessary as needed)
• Hours: Graveyard shift: 12:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• Department needs will call for occasional overtime
• Warehouse location: Baldwin Park, CA. Ideally the candidate would live within 40 miles of the Baldwin Park warehouse
• Travel: Driving is required throughout Southern California
• Company van and Painting tools will be provided
• Travel: 45% travel out of town and out of state, including overnight hotel stays for up to a week or more

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Painter
• Successful completion of a Painting apprenticeship preferred
• Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
• Ability to use appropriate tools (paint brushes, caulking guns, etc.)
• Familiarity with OSHA general safety practices for the painting industry preferred
• Ability to travel and be out of town for up to a week or more; Out of town travel can occur once a month or every other month, depending on the Painting project
• In-N-Out Burger associate/store experience preferred; Must be in good standing with the store
• Great attention to detail
• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Valid California Driver's License
• High school diploma or GED
