Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Paint Associate Level 4 for night shift in Valley, NE. The role focuses on liquid painting using air assist airless spray equipment, thinning paint, and maintaining spray systems.

You will also handle electrostatic powder coating and deglaring, with attention to coating thickness and atmosphere conditions. The job requires lifting 20-40 lbs most of the shift, reading shop drawings, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industrial liquid painting experience including mixing and thinning paint and the use of pressurized spray equipment
• Ability to lift 20-40 pounds, 40% of the time, and 50-pound containers 5-10 times per shift
• Ability to read shop drawings and reference finish specifications
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Outlook) and strong problem-solving ability
• Team-oriented with attention to detail and safety

Responsibilities

• Use liquid paint spray equipment, mix and thin paint, and maintain spray equipment
• Operate plural component spray equipment for below-grade polyurethane applications
• Perform deglaring of galvanized poles and use electrostatic powder coating equipment
• Read shop drawings, measure coating thickness, and ensure quality checks
• Operate cranes, forklifts, blasting and packaging equipment; assist with set-up and safety
