Job summary

Valmont Industries in Valley, Nebraska, is seeking a Paint Associate Level 4 to join the Paint Department. You will perform liquid painting, operate spray and powder coating equipment, and maintain spray systems while following safety practices and LEAN processes.

The role requires handling heavy parts, reading shop drawings, and working overtime as needed. The position offers a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of industrial liquid painting experience.
• Ability to lift 20–40 pounds, 40% of the time, and 50-pound containers 5–10 times per shift.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and perform simple math.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook or similar).
• Teamwork and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate liquid paint spray equipment and maintain spray gear.
• Use plural component spray equipment for polyurethane applications.
• Perform deglaring on galvanized poles after mixing chemicals.
• Operate powder coating equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Read shop drawings and reference finish specs.
