Job summary

Prime Residential Property Management LP in Los Angeles is seeking a Paint Technician I to paint interior and exterior of vacated and occupied apartments as well as common areas, following lead-safe practices. This on-site role works Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm at Park La Brea.

You should have a year of painting experience preferred, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• One year of painting experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or 1–3 months related experience/training.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication; able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to prioritize and execute assigned tasks.
• Ability to interact with residents, team members, vendors, and other contacts, remaining calm when addressing problems.
• Multifamily housing experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a community vehicle and/or golf cart.

Responsibilities

• Provide painting services for vacated apartments, occupied apartments, exterior walls, pool areas (touch-ups), exterior doors, and model apartments.
• Receive a plan of action with job locations and readying equipment.
• Identify and use all required painting supplies, equipment, and PPE for the job.
• Work safely, follow guidelines, wear proper PPE, and comply with OSHA regulations.
• Identify and report unsafe acts and/or equipment to the Painting Foreman.
• Complete final punch list per company policy, obtain required approval, and report on proper completion.
