Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company seeks SWDS Drivers to safely deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores to customers in Bridgeton, MO. You will load orders, follow assigned routes, and provide excellent service while ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle, completing delivery forms, handling customer questions, and helping with warehouse duties as needed. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers
