Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from Sherwin-Williams stores to customers in Bridgeton, MO. You will load, deliver, and ensure orders are accurate, packaged safely, and delivered on time while maintaining vehicle upkeep.

This full-time role (Mon-Fri) offers $17 per hour with opportunities to provide excellent customer service, follow routes, and comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• DOT Medical Exam Certificate (MEC) from FMCSA registry or willing to obtain within 5 business days of offer.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Evenings and weekends availability.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
• Load customer orders properly on the truck
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers
• Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers
