Rodda Paint Company in Seattle seeks a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive product sales. You will participate as a cooperative team member handling operating processes and contribute to a great store experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old and pass pre-employment background screens.
• Valid driver’s license from resident state and acceptable DMV record.
• Flexible schedule and punctual attendance required.
• Retail store environment experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with customers, assess needs and suggest product recommendations.
• Provide outstanding customer service with product knowledge.
• Make local deliveries to jobsites and customers using Company vehicle.
• Process orders, tinting and pricing inquiries.
• Manage inventory, receive stock, and rotate items.
• Keep the store organized, clean, and inviting.
• Perform other store duties as assigned.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers, assessing needs and making project product recommendations.
• Deliver an outstanding customer service experience by being knowledgeable on product applications and offerings.
• Make local deliveries to jobsites and customers in Company vehicle
• Order processing, accurate tinting and shaking of paint, product, and pricing inquiries.
• Inventory processes, receiving duties; putting away, rotating stock, etc.
• Participate in keeping the store organized, clean, tidy, and inviting
• All other store operational duties as assigned
• Operate equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, load, and unload vehicles in a safe manner.

Knowledge, Skills, Requirements and Essential Functions:

• Must be 18 years of age or older and pass required pre-employment background screens
• Present & maintain a valid driver’s license from resident state & acceptable DMVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, PPE rules, and store protocols.
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent; basic mathematical skills, fully conversant, speaking and listening.
• Punctual attendance required; scheduling must remain flexible & available
• The work environment consists of physical conditions typical of a retail store.
• Full-physical mobility is required to perform this job; constant standing and ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. with assistance.

Physical Requirements:

• The work environment consists of physical conditions typical of a commercial store, sales floor environment. The job is performed while standing with regular walking and the lifting and carrying of various paint containers and related items. The surfaces are hard, flat cement floors.
• Full-physical mobility is required for the performance of every store position. Employees are required to use provided PPE, lift and movement assist methods and equipment to reduce the risk of injury.
• Including but not limited to: Sitting, Standing and Walking, Lifting floor to wait, Lifting wait to shoulder, Lifting shoulder to overhead, Bending/Stooping, Squatting/Kneeling, Foot Controls, Repetitive Motions and Fine finger manipulation hand controls
