Job summary

Rodda Paint Company is seeking an Assistant Manager in Oregon City to support store operations, sales, and customer service. You will help manage inventory, assist customers, and train through day-to-day store activities under the Store Manager's guidance.

Responsibilities include tinting, order processing, POS operation, and ensuring a clean, safe, welcoming store. Experience in paint/coatings and strong English communication are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with reliable attendance.
• Two years of sales/assistant manager experience in paint or coatings preferred.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in POS systems and basic computer software.
• Flexible scheduling and ability to train in multiple store functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist store management and support customer needs and sales activities.
• Process orders, tint and mix paints, and maintain color records.
• Handle inventory control, stock, and routine cycle counts.
• Greet customers, answer inquiries, and provide product advice.
• Operate POS, handle pricing inquiries, and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized store environment and safety practices.
• Support delivery and loading of shipments and equipment safely.
